Some may say that Red Bull is not healthy for you and put it down for all of the negative impacts on your health but lets be honest with ourselves. We do not drink energy drinks because of their healthy benefits. We drink them because they give us ENERGY. If you want energy on a more consistent and healthy basis then it is going to take alot more time and energy to achieve that.
Energy Drinks are great because they achieve an energy spike with a 3 dollar expense. Others might find this repulsive and terrible but it is what it is. It is a waste of time to say that it does not do a, b, and c because they did not create Red Bull for those reasons. They created it so that you can enjoy an increase in energy the easy way.
As far as energy drinks go, Red Bul has great taste but it is a little too expensive for me.

Headache in a can. I'm one of the few people who really dislikes energy drinks. For $6.50 for a four pack, the chemical, overly sweet flavor is so hard to stomach that I have never been able to finish a can, and therefor have not reaped the benefits of noticing any known effects. More importantly, from the two sips I take I end up with a headache. Real fun. Not to mention: have you ever seen someone pour one of these into a glass for consumption? Cause I haven't. Don't you know by now that drinking from cans is basically asking for a dose of rat pee. I'm just giving it two stars cause I am amused that it is a certified Kosher beverage. Go figure.

We loved Red Bull until we became more health conscious. Too much sugar!

For some reason, I will always be willing to pay a hefty premium to drink this stuff. I might be in the minority, but I think it tastes delicious and I can't get enough of it.

I just drank a sugar free Red Bull on ice with some "fire water" mixed in. The color of Red Bull outside of its can is putrid. However, its taste is crisp, distinctive, and unmistakeable. I usually don't call Red Bull "Red Bull" and instead call it "synthetic marijuana" used to cure "fake back problems".

Red Bull does absolutely nothing to help me stay awake or anything, but I absolutely love the taste of it. It is a little too expensive to drink all the time, but I do buy it once in a while, and I love it. I think it is just me, caffeine, even coffee does nothing to me!

I will admit I do not like the flavor of Red Bull, but the energy it gives me is much needed on my long work day. They keep me from falling asleep at my desk. I am glad its not in a huge can like monster, it gives me the energy without the sore stomach. 5 stars for energy, 3 for price and taste.

Eww! I really dont like the taste of this. It is very unique, in a really gross way. Also, this is sooo bad for you. This is so packed with sugar and caffeine, its not healthy. I mean, I like it with some Jagermiester, but thats all. I really dont like the price. A tiny 8.3oz can for THREE DOLLARS is crazy!

I have started to use the Red Bull energy drink quite a lot lately especially when I am in a bit of a rush. This caffeine induced energy drink just seems to hit the right spot when it comes to pepping me up especially late at night after a long day at work. Besides giving me extra energy when I need it the most it also tastes good too which is a real benefit.

Red Bull is not only an amazing drink, its also an amazing brand. With all their money, they do awesome things. Flugtag, Parachute teams, sponsor athletes, and much more. When you drink Red Bull, you not only get an amazing and refreshing drink, but you are supporting amazing people who do amazing things! 5 Star Energy drink!

This stuff is without a doubt the pioneer of bringing energy drinks into the mainstream. Actually, anything else on the market seems to me like a hackneyed Red Bull wannabe. For example, if you see something like an X-Games event or entertainment industry event sponsored by Red Bull as opposed to some obscure organization throwing a party sponsored by "Jamba Jumba Extreme Monster Energy Rocket Fuel Drink", you tend to beyond a shadow of a doubt see the different in what and what isn't reputable. Also, Red Bull seems to be the best tasting of all other energy drinks. It has the most smooth and understated flavor. Two thumbs up.

I tried this stuff for the first time last week, and I can see how it might become hugely addicting. The weird, almost medicine-like taste is just bizarre enough to be enjoyed by folks like me who like bitter tonic water.

I can't stand this stuff. I think it tastes like liquid nerds (the candy) and is nutso expensive. People drink the "sugar free" kind and think it isn't bad for you but it is. I truly can't stand this product. Truly gross tasting

Red Bull's ingredients include taurine, glucuronalactone, caffeine, B-group vitamins, sucrose, and glucose. With that being said, I will help myself to a glass of water. Nothing beats the elegance of two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom.

I drink the sugar-free Red Bull. It doesn't taste very good (tastes like smarties candies), but is great for getting some extra energy. I feel much more motivated and less jittery than when drinking coffee.

The challenge I have with fully supporting a product like Red Bull deals with one thing, It's outrageously high price. On special occasions or if I am having a party, then I will buy a case which isn't even marked down as far as buying in bulk goes. Outside of this, it seems impractical to pay $3 for a little can that I myself notice no "increased energy" from to begin with.
However, if you are into the energy drink thing, Red Bull is the company that put them on the map and instead of expanding their product line have focused on the success and marketing of their wildly successful product. Also, it does taste better than most all other energy drinks out there, which have more of an aggressive flavor than the smooth tasting Red Bull.

'Red Bull gives you wings'.
Yes, it's slogan and the witty ad gave me that much needed push to try one of these. If you like something more chemical/stronger than Coke, this is your cup of tea! Although for me, it stunk of chemicals and tasted like liquid medicine with tonic. Being caffeine prone, I hoped this would help grow the much needed wings but no, one drink was enough to sat to down to earth.

I can only drink Red Bull as a mixer. Otherwise, the taste is so repulsive I can't even handle it as simply an energy booster. I would rather drink coffee than an overly sweet carbonated chemical concoction. Also I used to hate the "Red Bull gives you wings" commercials. The voices were so annoying.

The slogan is that "red bull gives you wings," but it's more like the jitters. A very high level or gaurana and caffeine make it really unpleasant to finish the can if you're not used to drinking a large amount of caffeine. The taste however is reminiscent of apple juice and delicious. Perhaps they need to make a Red Bull Lite?

I personally do not know how I would live without Redbull. Traditionally, most people drink coffee to start their day. For me, it is a can of Redbull that gets me started each morning. At first, most will agree that the taste of the drink is slightly repulsive. Yet, with time, not only will you get used to the flavor, you learn to love it. It has become more than simply an energy drink for me, as I will take down two full cans just for the addicting taste.

I rarely drink energy drinks, just because they do absolutely nothing for me, and they are way to pricey! But taste-wise, Redbull wins.

I should put a disclaimer on this.. I don't drink energy drinks.. if I'm thirsty I drink water.. if I want a treat I drink juice or maybe a cola once in a while. So I am not an expert on energy drinks. Everyone else here seems to be commenting on red bull's taste.. it's not for me.. I admire the company they have built and they have certainly done a phenomenal job of marketing the stuff. What worries me are some of the health-related claims that have come up.. I will leave it to you to do some research on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Bull) to decide for yourself..

A can at my local 7-11 costs $2.50 and right across from that fridge is a coffee maker with where a large cup of java costs $1.69 and contains more than twice the amount of caffeine. Now, neither taste great but a black coffee is essentially calorie-free and carbohydrate-free. Sure, Red Bull offers a sugar-free variety but that just tastes worse. If you're looking for a caffeine fix - stay simple, stay classy, save some money and get a coffee.
